Seeds to sprout and start growing at a time I determine.. They fight back; only sprout if and when is ideal for them. I add fertiliser in an attempt to hasten the process – the seedlings (like uncooperative children) may or may not respond. I place them under sunlight, grow lights, water them or allow them to be rained on. They will respond in a way that nature intended within the parameters of the conditions they are exposed to. I attempt to control them, but I have to relinquish some of that control to their growing process.. The plants flourish, and root systems thicken. Time to harvest.
