Other Testing
I have been creating and experimenting with other works over the week. I created a couple of decollage works (600mm x 600mm). These are made from hydrographic marine charts, pages from books about coastlines and marine weather forecasts. These are not finished as they need rubbing back to remove thin paper (which is like the white pith of an orange). This is just testing to see if I can create something which relates to bodies of water with the decollage which is part of my practice (maybe on the opposing side in my exhibition space).
I have also created some more bioplastic forms with found items from the wrack line and testing those with other items to see the interplay With the decollage, with the pieces of paper torn from the decollages, and on the plywood that I use for my decollages - I quite like how the natural grain in the wood looks with these forms, reminds me of the shape of the high tide line.
